EFT, Tapping, & Somatic Therapies for Acupuncturists
EFT & Tapping Course
Woman

Tapping is a therapy that acupuncturists should add to their toolbag because it can address various clinical problems that acupuncture is only partially effective for.

Tappping is a mind-body therapy that works on various levels. Physically, it lowers cortisol, stops pain, and treats stress-related disorders.

Psychologically, tapping can help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other shen disturbance disorders.

Tapping can greatly help patients to make changes in their habits and lifestyles.

This course integrates tapping practices with health coaching methodologies, information on changing habits, and will help to improve your patient-centered communication skills.

In addition to the class pdf, audio, and video files, it also includes 3 live webinars over the course of 6 weeks. This helps with the learning process and allows time for Q & A's.
This class also pairs well with my Somatic Therapy Course, the ANS / Stress Class, and the Craniosacral Systems Course.
Somatic Therapies Class

This class is an introduction to the use of mind-body therapies. In it I discuss the Big 4 categories of somatic therapies including using breath, touch, movement, and sensory related processes. The course teaches the therapist to guide the patient into their Felt sense, and the way in which they hold emotions in their bodies. A variety of other foundational skills are taught that allow for a big picture perspective on how to use somatic therapies.

The 4th class focuses on the spine and vertebral dynamics. We will look at how many of the issues that arise within the system can originate from and be expressed through patterns in the vertebrae.

We will pay particular attention to the Primal Midline, how forces and fulcrums are organized around this midline, and how we can use some specific techniques including direction of tide and disengagements to have a conversation with these forces.

The course also covers:

Anatomy and the motions of the vertebrae

Cervical Vertebrae Holds

Techniques for directing Tide within the vertebral column

How to intend disengagement between compressed vertebrae

And much more
