Master Tung's Points 77.27 - Lateral Three Posses
Location:
This is a three point combination. Draw a line from the head of the fibula to the lateral malleolus and divide this distance in quarters. The first point is 1/2 way between the head of the fibula and lateral malleolus, and the other two points are at the 1/4 mark and 3/4 mark.
Indications:
These points have wide ranging applications involving severe qi and blood stagnation. They are like the Three Emperors or Four Flowers, but for the GB / LV functions (qi and blood stag).
Traditional uses include costal pain, chest pain, trigeminal neuralgia, otitis media, shoulder, arm, and elbow pain and swelling, pain under the scapula, scapulothoracic syndrome, snapping scapula syndrome.
Respiratory: laryngitis, pharyngitis, tonsilitis, cancer of the larynx and lungs
Systemic pain, GB and LV disorders. Tumors, fibrocystic breasts, cancer.
