Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
In this video the greater vault hold (Sutherland's hold) is demonstrated and proper finger placements is shown. In CST each hold has specific finger placement and this is something that is very important. It is also crucial to make sure your arms, hands, and fingers are comfortable. You do no want tension in your hands when doing any hold.

As you do a hold listen for a fluid like tide. As the cerebrospinal fluids move through the brain and spine subtle movements can be felt. There are basically two phases of this, the flexion phase which will fill like an expansion and the contraction phase which we call extension.
Start by feeling for expansion and contraction of the fluids. The video below discusses directing the tide and is a sample from the full class.
Course 1 contains 43 videos like the two above with many demonstrations and 3D animations. It is a comprehensive introduction to craniosacral therapy. The course covers the core concepts and history of Craniosacral therapy and the unique aspects of the Biodynamic Model.
